This was the first time I had ever used a Voice Thread. I thought it was the coolest thing ever. I was a little hesitant at first to use this not sure how it was all going to work. However, once I got the hang of it, it was very user friendly and really fun to use. I loved all the different tools it allowed you to use. I plan on using this technology in my future classroom, especially, when I have my students do writing assignments. It will allow students to open up and use their imagination and be creative. It will also allow my students to use their peers and family members if they wanted to. Using this voice thread allows students to really hear themselves and make their story sound the way they want it to sound. The really great thing about this technology is the fact that it will be out there for other people to see. This way it gives the students to see what other people thought of their story and it will give them a sense of accomplishment and knowing that they have published work on the internet for people to see. I am so glad we got a chance to use this tool and really see what it was all about.
